Bought for painful swollen ankle. The swelling has reduced a lot and so as the pain. The instructions could be a lot clearer eg can this be used on the head. Having to hold for 20 – 30 minutes can be tiring.

I am new to this technology, but this device provides a Red laser (with an array of 12 outputs) claimed to penetrate the skin to a depth of 1 inch, and a single central infraRed laser capable of penetrating 2-maybe-3 inches, together stimulating healing, reducing inflammation, and relieving pain. Anecdotally, my wife reports positive Initial results. You can apply the light beams to acupuncture points (which are just subsurface), or inflamed areas generally.
The machine feels very-good quality, powered by an internal lithium battery, rechargeable, and about the size of a remington electric shaver. You set it for 10-20-30 minutes use at a time with a choice of power levels. The laser is cold/soft) and you don’t feel it, but must avoid looking at it (safety specs provided).
I would say this device is at the ‘professional’ end of the coloured-light-therapy market. I like it.

Got it for knee osteo arthritis but after months of use it made little difference .However i tried it for muscular or otherwise aches and strains brought on by DIY work around the house and it did give effective relief . Also jaw and gum ache responded well ,i held l off giving a review on this to give a fair test of the arthritis relief but i am glad i bought it.

Doesn’t give me much pain relief to be honest
Instructions don’t really explain what the four modes are
After a month I noticed the battery and corroding the lead and my carpet whilst I had left it to charge

I was pleased with this initially but when we came to use it on our cat (note there are pictures of animals in the ad promoting use of this) it was no good. As soon as we read in the instruction booklet that it was not to be used on ‘black fur’ we couldn’t proceed. I researched it briefly elsewhere and apparently, using laser therapy on animals with dark/black fur is not recommended as it results in the laser being absorbed too quickly – which might potentially cause tissue warming. I understand that the device isn’t that powerful but wasn’t prepared to take the chance so had to return….

I brought my own of these for my cat with tummy issues and arthritis. It helps both, along with a diet aimed at helping his ibd too. He jumped up on a decking he hasn’t managed in years. That was only after a few uses at full power, 10 or 15 minutes.
I use this on my knee, neck, shoulders for muscle relief and my face for a treatment.
I used it on an ingrown toe nail after it was removed and it healed within days.
I loved it so much i took it to my aunties for a nerve damage she has had for 3 years.
She hasn’t been able to bend her finger or use it in all that time. One 15 minute treatment and it still hurts, but less and it bent for the first time in 3 years.
She has brought her own and its really helping.
So i used it with my friend for her plantar fasciitis and again, she has tried everything bar steroids and really doesn’t want to have them. But is in so much pain she was going to have them.
I used 15 minutes on full and again, she was shocked at how much it helped.
The throbing was gone in the morning and the pain lessened by 50% which gave her hope and she was so happy.
So yes, i brought her one today as a birthday pressi.
Needless to say, i can not rate this machine more 10/10
Now, if they did a green light for hormonal conditions, I’d be their first customer.
