OK calcium

I first bought one in Israel whilst on holiday as I was told Israel is abundant with Boron (turned out that info was wrong as Turkey is the global leader in boron export and production). As I have joints/ muscle problems in my legs I was advised to take Boron. Amazon is great to have the same item in UK. Yes I had lesser muscle spasms but not sure if it worked for my joints.

Ok, this is a good calcium option for vegans or allergies. It works. But it tastes foul! Even the smell makes me shudder. It’s absoloutley terrible, and even though calcium works, it is just terrible. Horrible tasting. Don’t try and activate slime with it either because it says ‘boron’. It’s like 0.3 per cent borax. Urgh, I’m shuddering even now. But if you have a stomach of steel, do give it a go.

My recently-acquired Solgar ‘Calcium Magnesium plus Boron’ supplement has, I believe, caused problems.
I began with One tab per serving (merely a cautionary measure with a new product) & increased after a week to Two tabs, the 2nd taken in the evening. This increase resulted in an alarmingly severe nosebleed upon waking the following morning. I am assuming this episode was a consequence of the Boron, which I had never taken before, and, as there is at least one documented link online referring to boron and nosebleeds, I wd like to offer a small caution.
Altho’ I do need the Calcium & Magnesium, I now have a 250 tablet purchase which I am reluctant to continue with, as this is the first-EVER nosebleed I have ever experienced.
The single tab per day was OK, but the recommended serving is 3 tablets. Unfortunately, I was unable to contact the Amazon seller direct; I would have liked their comment on this. I have, however, contacted Solgar themselves & am awaiting their response.
