My dad has dementia and is currently in hospital. When I arrived with this today the nurse said he was really agitated. When I gave it to him he used it the whole time I was there and it really settled him. I am going to look at the rest of the range now to order some more!

Mum, in the last stages of Alzheimer’s, looked at me in disgust and asked what was she supposed to do with it!! Maybe suitable for some people who’ve worked with tools etc. It’s now stuck in the side and mum won’t touch it! It’s beautifully made but I could just as will have given her a smooth stick!

It’s nicely made but somehow not very interesting to handle! Mum didn’t take to it at all.

Uncle is quite far gone with alzheimer’s I wasn’t sure if he would be able to use this, but he was fiddling with it straight away. The wood feels lovely and as he always worked with his hands this was great. Definitely recommend

After a horrendous year I’ve been left with fairly severe anxiety. Playing with this really helps calm my thoughts down. I try to focus on getting the rhythm right to keep the ball rolling around smoothly and it really helps to put my mind at ease. Wish I had known about this when my grandma was still with us as I think it would have helped calm her down when she was feeling stressed due to her alzheimers.
