I don’t usually write reviews but felt this was worth a review. I’m 27 and have suffered from acne for the last 2 years, I had to change to the mini pill because of migraines and my skin went crazy. I’ve been on every prescribed tablet and cream for it but nothing has made much difference. I had been using differin but stopped as it really wasn’t making much difference and decided to order a bottle of this retinol face serum.
I have been using it once a day for a week now, before I go to bed after my usual cleanse and it’s made such a difference. I usually get cystic acne on my cheeks and chin, this has dried up and I have only had a few new spots appear and stopped those deep under the skin spots from developing into painful lumps! My skin looks brighter already and I’ve definitely noticed dark spots start to lighten. It was a little bit drying on the skin to begin with but this seems to have settled. Would definitely recommend this if like me you have tried every possible cream and product!

This has done wonders for my skin, my skin clinic recommended a retinol serum and I found this on Amazon
As my doctor said you shouldn’t ever EVER wear this during the day because it can cause terrible sunburn so I apply before bed with CeraVe moisturiser, and wash off thoroughly in the morning
Used without moisturiser the first 3 nights and noticed my skin felt tight and I had reddish skin around my upper lip, I googled (obvs) and saw horror stories about skin flaking first time you use it so I quickly started applying moisturiser and it has been much much better, redness is gone.
I also use the vitamin c product from the same brand which goes on in the morning and when I take my makeup off in the evening, doctor said this was the best combination for better skin and forever routine.
Highly recommend, just apply moisturiser 🙂
Also wouldn’t recommend for very young skin or sensitive due to these side effects, I’m 27 and only just at the beginning of the time to start anti ageing routines!

I have used this product for 2 years now and so far it is the only one that I can see that does anything.
I have wasted money on cupboards full of products that do not work or worse give me spots by clogging my pores. I find moisturisers give me spots so I use this product and vitamin c.
Lines around my mouth are reduced unfortunately
not gone but at least it does something. The other popular products household names on TV have not worked. This is the one that does you need to use it for a week or more though before you notice the lines becoming less deeper. Price is amazing. Keep selling it please.

So I never write reviews on amazon but for this I simply had to. Firstly I want to start by saying I think some of the reviews are fake because hardly any of them mention that this does not contain all of the ingredients listed in the advert, there is no hylauronic acid in this at all. It also does leave a slightly sticky residue after application so for these reasons I can only give four stars. However, this has changed my life and I’ve only used it for four days! I have nightmare skin it’s usually combination/ oily, really uneven in skin tone, prone to cystic acne and pretty much everything I put on it makes me break out. I’ve been using this product morning and night for the last four days and it has transformed my skin. It’s evening out the tone, making it super soft and makeup glides on like a dream and I’ve had zero breakouts, it’s actually healed my skin and reduced scarring. Usually I wouldn’t leave the house without some form of foundation but in the past few days I have been. Not only this but I’ve alao received two compliments on my skin in just two days – almost unheard of for me! I can’t speak for the long term effect but I can’t wait to see how my skin looks in a couple of weeks.

I very much like this product – I’ve been using it at night after cleansing, and it absorbs smoothly and leaves my skin feeling good. I’ve been using this now for maybe a year, two years (time is hazy during the pandemic)
The real question though – is it actually anti-ageing?!
I have no scientific proof, but earlier this week was being photographed with a couple of girls who didn’t know me. Overheard them asking each others’ ages – 25 and 26 respectively. A bit later, chatting with them they asked if they knew me from somewhere, what school had I gone to? “I don’t think so – I was at X school – but I’m 36…” “What?!? We thought you were 23!!! You’re seriously 36?!?” they then flagged down the photographer excited going “Guess how old she is! Guess, guess, you’ll never guess how old she is!”.
So, there you go. Entirely anecdotal, but seems to be working for me. Come back to me when I’m 70 and we’ll see how it’s going.
