The “Original Personal Lubrication” from OVIO is a large bottle (200ml) of intimate lubrication that comes in a well-made and handy pump dispenser.
First off, let’s talk about the pump dispenser. Having this type of lube so easy to dispense, as in you can literally get some on the go using just one hand, whilst say your other hand is busy (say with your partner) is a game changer. It can seriously disrupt the mood if you have to unscrew the top from a tube or whatever. So pump dispensing is definitely the way forward if you ask me.
Now…onto the luuuuube itself. Now we all know KY is the leading brand name in this discreet little field. KY has been around for as long as anyone can remember. How does this stuff compare? Well, it certainly does the job it’s required to do – and it’s pretty long-lasting to boot. Slapping on a couple of fingertipfuls is all you need for a bit of added slippery, slidey fun, without any unwanted friction cropping up a minute or two after application.
There’s very little taste or smell accompanying the lube, so it doesn’t interrupt or mask any natural intimacy – if you know what I mean?! It’s also very easy to clean off bedding, clothing and other items etc. In fact, there’s no immediately obvious greasy stains left behind on sheeting etc, which is a definite plus point for it.
The consistency is just right. It’s thick enough for easy and simple application, without it running off everywhere, but liquid enough to be effective and spread around the desired area with ease. I’d say consistency-wise it’s on a par with KY.
All in all, my partner and I are very happy with the product. As such, we’d say it’s highly recommended.

This is a pretty nice standard water based lube. Suitable for toys and use with condoms, unlike the silicon variant which lasts longer but will damage toys and rubbery stuff. A small amount goes a long way, and my only complaint is the slightly tacky feeling left afterwards, although that’s lubes in general. Otherwise, it’s pretty reasonable. Not the best one I’ve tried but far from the worst, and very reasonable at this price point. Recommended.

This is a very nice feeling lube, although I don’t actually use it for its intended purpose. I’ve been using this to lubricate the head of a muscle massager and it’s been very effective for that, prior to using this I’ve found that I was being left with ‘sore’ patches where friction from the massage gun had built up on my skin. The gel is quite light and is very slippery, the fact that you can just wipe it off is a big plus – it leaves no greasy residue or stickiness.
I’m sure that it’ll be a big hit with people that are using this gel for its primary purpose – I’m very happy with it, recommended.

Works well as a lube but only for short periods. You get a lot of it because you need to keep reapplying. This breaks up the whole experience – just hold on a minute darling as we need yet more of this stuff. It’s a pretty good lube whilst it’s there, but it disappears pretty quickly.

Tried this product and was extremely disappointed that despite the product claimed to be non-sticky. It dries quickly too and it’s so sticky you need to keep applying it more.
