I like the taste of the tea, although I saw many reviews seem to dislike it. If you like coffee or tea without sugar, or bitter tastes you will like this. That said, it didn’t do anything else for me…as far as detox or cleansing…not that I could physically see!

These are really bitter and vile. I tried a few cups hoping I’d get used to the taste. Adding honey made them taste worse somehow. I felt more sick than cleansed if I’m honest.

This was far too bitter for me, even added a too-sweet liquid supplement to the tea, but it just made it worse, I did stick with it for a couple of weeks, but can not get used to the bitterness, have decided to use leftover tea bags as a hair spritz instead. Taking the tea internally didn’t really help me to “go” more often, but increased flatulence and helped my stomach feel more settled the next day after drinking at night.

This isn’t a tea you’d drink for the pleasure of it. Having said that I quite like it and don’t find it overly bitter as I see mentioned in a number of other reviews, but I’ve been cleansing and taking herbs for many years. My understanding regarding the bitter flavour is that this is part of it’s cleansing nature, and is good for the liver and so I welcome this because I ordered the tea for the ingredients and it’s action on the body. When you find the bitter taste overwhelming, it’s a sign you REALLY need what’s in this tea! We avoid bitter tastes in our culture, and are also overloaded with toxins – so if you’re new to cleansing, you’re going to find it bitter – if you want the benefits, you’re going to have to find a way to get it down you! Alternatively, you could start with dandelion root tea which is a milder flavour but doesn’t offer the full blend of what’s in this tea.
