I’m very dubious about this type of thing but my partner recommended them to me and they really do work. It’s not some magic lsd trip but you definitely feel better

To be honest I’m undecided how much these help. Some days I question them, others I’m pretty confident they’ve made a difference.
I’m not the best at swallowing and the size of these can make it difficult. Sticking with them for now.

I have tried St John’s Wort before for anxiety and depression and had a bad experience. The last time I tried it I got a severe headache and it also raised my blood pressure. I later found out this happened because there are certain foods and drinks you aren’t supposed to eat or drink while taking St John’s Wort including Marmite or any other kind of yeast extract, red wine and certain types of beer. Eating or drinking these foods and drinks while you are taking St John’s Wort can cause something called a tyramine reaction and some symptoms of this are severe headaches and high blood pressure. I normally eat Marmite almost everyday which is probably why this happened to me. I didn’t know about this reaction until I had already disposed of the St John’s Wort tablets the first time. Now I know about this reaction I’m giving St John’s Wort another try. For now I’m giving it 3 stars as I haven’t been on it long enough to know if it works for me. So far this time I haven’t had any negative side effects because I have been avoiding the foods and drinks that cause the tyramine reaction. If it does help with my depression and anxiety I will give this more than 3 stars and update this review. If you are on any medications you need to speak with your doctor before you try St John’s Wort because there are a lot of medications St John’s Wort interferes with and not all of these medications are antidepressants. If you need something for depression or anxiety or both like me it might be worth giving this a try but you should speak to your doctor first.

I’ve been taking these on an off for about a year (as recommended) and they definitely work for low moods. The pills are hard to swallow at first but you get used to it after a while. Took about 1 – 2 months before noticing a difference in my mood, for me they work best when I take them with other vitamins/supplements (5HTP, Triple Magnesium, ashwagahnda) but alone they still work, just a more subtle effect
Hope this helps

I’ve been slightly depressed for years but never wanted to see the Dr about it. I also suffer from anxiety which I take medication for and been on that for over 10yrs now.
I heard about these for low mood and anxiety, was sceptical about them mainly because they are home remedy, I’m not used to home remedy medications. Anyway I have been taking them for 3 weeks now, never felt a difference until now.
It was kind of a switch flick moment, 2 days ago I felt much happier and positive. It is a strange feeling for me as I have felt down for so long. It feels like a weight lifted and my mood is now so much better than it has been. It is definitely not placebo, I had that thought is it? But it isn’t because of the change from 2 days ago.
I am going to keep taking these for 6 months, I have read that you can for depression rather than just 2 month supply. I would say to anyone with low mood or anxiety to give them a try but do not expect them to work in first week, I felt no change on my first week. As I say it is only on week 3 where I am feeling the change. I am glad they are working for me, saves me being on anti depressants which I didn’t want.

I find the 300mg tablets to be barely any use, but the herb is the real deal at the right dosage.
Maybe 300mg would be enough but unlike other brands these tablets aren’t coated so that may effect the potency due to the protection from oxidative degradation.
Regardless they’re in an amber bottle so should be protected, but before bottling? Who knows?
So yeah these ones sit in a drawer as a backup in case I run out of my usual brand.
