I take these for mild mood dips that is linked to my menopause and they really work and no addictive at all.
    I would recommend.

My sister ordered me these from Amazon earlier this year when I had anxiety due to some stressful events in my life. They took a couple of weeks to kick in but then really helped. I’ve started taking them again recently as I’ve been suffering with SAD. They started working almost instantly. The depression really lifted. The only side effect is that sometimes they give me a headache.
I don’t find the pills hard to swallow, they’re fairly large but smooth so I have no issues.

St John’s Wort truly works and this brand is excellent and also not pricey. Very happy with this and I will order again.
I normally have two tables a day at 10:00 – 11:00 am. If you have a sensitive stomach you can have a very light thing before it: a baby banana, a cup of almond or oat milk or one date!

I have tried St John’s Wort before for anxiety and depression and had a bad experience. The last time I tried it I got a severe headache and it also raised my blood pressure. I later found out this happened because there are certain foods and drinks you aren’t supposed to eat or drink while taking St John’s Wort including Marmite or any other kind of yeast extract, red wine and certain types of beer. Eating or drinking these foods and drinks while you are taking St John’s Wort can cause something called a tyramine reaction and some symptoms of this are severe headaches and high blood pressure. I normally eat Marmite almost everyday which is probably why this happened to me. I didn’t know about this reaction until I had already disposed of the St John’s Wort tablets the first time. Now I know about this reaction I’m giving St John’s Wort another try. For now I’m giving it 3 stars as I haven’t been on it long enough to know if it works for me. So far this time I haven’t had any negative side effects because I have been avoiding the foods and drinks that cause the tyramine reaction. If it does help with my depression and anxiety I will give this more than 3 stars and update this review. If you are on any medications you need to speak with your doctor before you try St John’s Wort because there are a lot of medications St John’s Wort interferes with and not all of these medications are antidepressants. If you need something for depression or anxiety or both like me it might be worth giving this a try but you should speak to your doctor first.

I began taking these as a cheaper replacement to other St. John’s Wort tablets, which were working as I wanted them to, and there has been no loss of effect. The chemistry of SJW contains Monamine Oxidase Inhibitors: Monamine Oxidase is the body’s enzyme which breaks down amine compounds, which include most drugs and many substances found in foods (some of which begin to act like drugs if not broken down quickly in the normal way) thus we should be careful what else we imbibe at the same time as MAOIs. For e.g. caffeine is made stronger and to last longer when taken at the same time as MAOIs, which can cause increased anxiety, somewhat obviously; but less obvious is the effect of Tyramine, a breakdown product of Tyrosine, both of which are “pressors” meaning they increase blood pressure and can do so substantially in combination with MAOIs, even dangerously, but definitely anxiety inducing (they are found in aged/fermented products mainly, especially sausages and cheeses, but also Miso, Tempeh & Soy Sauce, plus Marmite. Personally, I am prescribed morphine and, although it is contra-indicated, I find the combination extra effective 😉

After a particular painful and difficult two years with some huge life changes, I was starting to rebuild me life but still felt quite low and anxious daily on my new journey, I felt like I needed a little help along the way. Had read about these and the benefits in the past but had always been on the contraceptive pill so was unable to try them. Off those now and thought I would give these herbal remedies a try rather than going to the drs. I have been on them around 6 weeks now so feel this is a good time to review. They are biggish round flatish pills but I don’t struggle to swallow if I have a big gulp. I was struggling emotionally before I took them and my reactions were highly anxious based making me feel out of control. I feel what I can only describe as a sense of calm. I have been through some difficult times even recently and I feel with a calmer clearer head I am able to think more rationally towards situations and find solutions easier without panic. I no longer wake up with the feeling of dread or panic. Which is a game changer I am more engaged with my children and I am laughing more and enjoying life more. It doesn’t numb my emotions but makes them easier to deal with. With less panic on my head my confidence has also grown making usual tasks feel less daunting, even socially I feel much less anxious than I did. Stronger as a person these have actually been life changing for me. Can’t say they will work for everyone but for me they work like a dream. It’s made me put my worries into perspective. I’m much less stuck in my head now and more action based. No side effects for me at all either which is a bonus

Really good stuff! Worth the money great mood Enhancer. It honestly changed my life as my doctor though medication was not the right route for me as I was just stressed and low level anxiety. The tablets are probably larger than what most people are used to but honestly not even that bad. They do have an organic taste no side effects! Loads to last for over 2 months. Great product I don’t even go to Holland anymore!
