Really useful when you’re feeling a bit tired and don’t want to have a coffee.

So, I sometimes have a couple of nights a month where I just can’t sleep at all before having a huge crash & sleeping for 12hrs or so (yes I’m seeing a doctor about it).
On those days it’s hard to drag myself to the desk so I’ll take a ProPlus whilst I’m having ten minutes snoozing the alarm, then I’m generally kind of functional for a few hours.
These tablets are supposed to have WAY more caffeine in so I’ve been breaking then in half to be safe & see how I tolerated a much higher amount than I’m used to.
They do nothing. Literally nothing.
Even if I take a full tablet I’d be more awake by splashing cold water on my face or opening a window.
There’s no possible way there’s 200mg of caffeine in these, and I’m kicking myself because I’m realising that I have no idea what IS in them. At best it’s just chalk, at worst…
I am going to stick to ProPlus & caffeine drinks (Virtue is a really nice sugar free option) & take these to the chemist for disposal – god only knows what I’ve been swallowing in these things, I sure as heck don’t.

Tablets are amazing for a boost before running! Easy to swallow and great value for money.

Package only contains 90 pills, not 100 and is totally different to the image advertised. Appart from that everything seems in order. Pills are still 200mg each.

A little bit of background information for reference. I’m in prime health, mid 20s’, last time I had caffeine was end of April. I would have 3 cups of strong coffee per day.
I took one 200mg pill with 200ml of water. The effects began somewhere after 30 minutes. I did not get any jitters or side effects. I have a seditary job and usually I don’t feel like doing any physical related stuff midday. After taking one pill I was less concerned about the physical part of my work and I felt a little more efficient ‘ready for action’.
These pills are a great substitute to regular coffee. If you are drinking coffee often you won’t benefit from these pills or it might put you in danger since one pill is equivalent to 2 cups of coffee.

for starters,,,,
if your not a caffine addict be careful with the amount you take because lord I took more than one so I could stay up and revise for alevels, and felt like I was on 7 different type of drugs.
they work, very well, probably too well considering I was basically in a state of hyperactivity and can’t remember doing some of my alevels 🙌 not tried them yet for the gym, that’s next. but I’m assuming it’ll be helpful

As a student I pull more all nighters than I like to admit, and in the past have always resorted to food, bright light and sheer willpower to keep me awake. Fairly effective, but holy hell is it miserable after about 4am, and my productivity definitely dips significantly. These pills actually make all nighters a feasible option when deadlines begin looming. I use them for exams too and definitely notice a boost in focus and mental speeds, though perhaps because I tend to leave myself sleep deprived from revision.
They start to kick in after around 30mins, gradually raising my alertness, energy levels and general cheerfulness. I’m no morning person to put it lightly, but just one of these stops me feeling and looking dead behind the eyes. Make no mistake however, this is no miracle drug and doesn’t replace sleep. You’ll still feel the lack as a kind of graininess, and once the caffeine starts to wear off after 5ish hours you’ll feel like a walking trainwreck, though no worse than you would’ve without it.
The golden rule: DON’T GET ADDICTED. Taking these daily will make you highly dependent as your body learns to crave it like any other drug, and you do not want to find out what caffeine withdrawal feels like. Use them for special occasions. All nighters, exams, job interviews, that kind of thing.
