I have a long haired cat that sheds quite a bit so I got this with the hope of improving the air quality. It throws fresh air but I am unsure whether it is doing anything as the filter looks pretty clean despite the amount of hair flying in the air. The product is designed well and it is easy to use. I am just not sure whether it is actually doing the job

obviously its tricky to tell if your air has been cleaned but I think after a few weeks of using this (left in night mode durng the day as it is slightly too noisy to sleep with) – I think the room has less dust (as judged by looking through sunlight ) – so it seems worth it (I havent paid for another filter yet – that may sway my rating).
Be warned you can not turn this on with a mains smart switch – it is manual only

Used to stop excessive pet dander buildup in a room with two rabbits, I’d say it’s working as the filter needs to be regularly vacuumed to remove buildup.

OK so I bought both of these air purifiers; the Levoit 300 and the Levoit Mini, they were not provided in exchange for a review.
The 300 is much, much bigger than the mini – the 300 is not as quiet as the mini for night time in the bedroom but it throws a lot more air through it at every level. The 300 also has a timer 2 to 8 hours, a child lock, and a bigger fan.
Here we are then; the mini can run in the bedroom almost unheard all night; that’s not the same for the sleep mode of the 300. The 300 however, can push so much more air through it in larger spaces.
The 300 is in the kitchen in our home, the mini in a bedroom. This arrangement works well for us.

I can’t recommend this product highly enough! I’ve been suffering terribly with dust allergies in my bedroom. I’ve been using this air purifier for one month and it’s all cleared up. No more streaming nose and sneezing when I wake up.
The machine is simple to set up and use. You can hear a slight hum the higher the setting but the night mode is really silent, plus you can switch off the lights on the settings, so no brightness in the room at night.
I tend to keep it running on low during the day, according to the manufacturer booklet that comes with it, the air recycles 3/4 times in a day.
I just vacuumed the filter after one month and was amazed at how much dust was on it. I’ll continue to give it a monthly vacuum which will hopefully maintain its efficiency.

Impressed with this air purifier, has 3 modes you can set which aren’t too loud, you can set a timer for 2h/4h/6h/8h and has a sleep/nighttime mode which is quieter. I found easy to setup and use. It cleans the air well and looks great!
