I have been suffering from very painful toes during cold weather to the extent that the toes turn blue and very painful to even touch. I was told because I am a diabetic I am likely to have poor circulation in my toes. The GP was not very helpful. I decided to try l-arginine having heard about its effect on circulation. I also take antihypertency medicines. I checked that l-arginine was not contraindicated for use with these drugs. I have been using l-arginine for more than a year. There is improvement. I am 78+.

I have tried other capsules containing l-arginine mixed with other amino acids and vitamins. They had quite a dramatic effect on my mood and clarity of thought and so I was interested to see what pure l-arginine would be like. The effect seems to be very similar – I have taken a quarter of the suggested dose (ie one capsule per day) but the effect seems to be equally noticeable.
This is a very large jar of capsules – ie about 16cm high by just under 9cm wide. The capsules themselves are also quite big – each about 2cm long by 0.75cm wide. The instructions recommend 2×2 capsules per day. Since I will only be taking one a day (at most) these will last me a long time – there are 360 tablets in the jar and the use by date is Jan 2018.
I am still researching potential side effects of l-arginine, and will stop if taking them if I (or anyone else) notices any. For the time being, however, the effects are positive.

Bought these to deal with my high blood pressure and it has helped reduce the numbers by dilating the blood vessels more. A welcome off shoot of the tablets is it provides stronger erections. Don’t buy viagara, use these instead.

Why oh why do they put 4500mg on the front when each individual capsule contains 622.5mg arginine? You have to take 8 capsules to get at least 4500mg. I bought these because I need 9g of arginine a day. So I have to take 15 capsules each day. FIFTEEN!! If I had know this to be the case I would have just got the supplement powder instead.
