I-Therma-U Migraine Relief Cap
I suffer with migraines and the ONLY thing that used to help were those gel patches that used to stick right across the forehead, but for some reason they donโt seem to feel cold enough like they used to and thatโs what I need. I need my head to feel freezing to take the migraine pain away, at least until I can get to sleep. This cap is a two-in-one for me, it has the coldness I need once kept in the fridge for a while and it also comes down over the eyes (with a fab soft nose cutout) for the darkness. The cap is so soft and does up at the back with Velcro, so you can adjust the tightness a little.
If you are suffering with hot flushes too, this is great to use to cool your beetroot face down!
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Update: I have now had cause to use this during a migraine! I didnโt put it in the fridge, just used it as was. It was very cool and stayed cool for hours (I wouldnโt have wanted it any colder!) I spent much of the day laying in bed in a dark room with my eyes closed and this cap on. I felt really rotten, the headache was awful and I was very nauseous. So, wearing this cap/mask didnโt stop that. But I did take it off at a few points to see whether it was making any difference and, each time, I opted to put it straight back on again. So, while it didnโt stop the migraine, it did help a bit.

Thankfully, I havenโt needed to use this yet since Iโve had it, so I can only base my review on my observations so far – Iโll come back and update the review if necessary once Iโve used it.
I get migraines every now and then and didnโt even know you could get these caps until a few weeks ago! When I have a migraine, even though the pain is intense and it might sound counter-intuitive, applying pressure tends to help a bit. I usually do this my just pressing my hand to my head! So, this cap already feels like a potentially more effective and practical option!
The material feels lovely – itโs almost like neoprene but I donโt think it is. Whatever it is, itโs really soft and comfy.
Iโve never thought of applying cold to my head during a migraine, and Iโm not sure I fancy thatโฆso I ordered this mainly for the compression but I will try cooling it as well. It is actually pretty cool to the touch anyway, not having put it in the fridge/freezer. So, Iโll experiment with which temperature I prefer. Itโs good to have that flexibility of cold or heat.
Migraines are horrible and debilitating, so I really hope I donโt ever need to use this item! But as Iโm bound to get another one sometime, I will be keen to try this out.

The outer material used is very soft and gentle against my skin. The inner material gel feels a bit like neoprene when gently squeezed. This product has a full height hook and loop fastener for the rear of the head to ensure there is a good fit.
This product has a more defined nose cut out than another similar product I recently tested. The product is comfortable to wear. I also find with this product there is some visual leakage when I look down.
Although this is not as much as with the other product. If I pull this item down so it covers my nostrils and I switch to breathing through my mouth, then I do get a visual seal which stops me seeing part of my surroundings when I look down. I think a possible solution would be to include a 3D contoured eye mask made from the same material as this wrap. Which can also be heated or made to be cold. The eye mask could be worn stopping any light leakage and this wrap could be worn over it or above it, to bring about relief to the forehead area, upper cheeks and the sides and rear of the head. Another alternative would be to have some sort of flexible and bendable material inside which could make the product be more contoured to my face. Such as around the base of it and for my nose. Maybe the nose indentation part needs to be a more prominent triangle cut-out?
The product comes in a cardboard box which also contains a branded zip lock bag, a folded product information sheet, and a card providing the story of the brand.
I will award this product 3.5/5 stars, so this becomes 4/5 with the Amazon rating system.

This mask is very soft and remains so even when you have put it in the freezer. I personally found it too cold after freezing so keeping it in the fridge is better.
You can adjust the back so you get a snug fit that prevents light penetration which I found to be effective.
Although I think this mask is well made, soft and keeps cool for a while, I personally did not find it suitable for me as I prefer to be able to target the cool area rather than have it cold all round the head but that’s a personal thing.

I suffer from migraines, not very often only around 2-3 a year but when I do get 1 I’m floored. I also regularly get sinus pain to the point I’m physically sick so figured this would be useful to have.
So far so good. I keep it in the freezer for emergencies so it helps with a temperature aswell as pressure and blocks out light. Easy to put on, is a good size and comfortable too.
Would recommend.
