They do help. Taking for gout.
by mrs benson
After the first night of taking two, (cut in half because they’re huge and slightly chalky), I woke the next day to find my big toe comfortable and the aches associated with gout much better then they’ve ever been! A few days later, and only taking one a night and I feel like a different person! Just upset I hadn’t found these sooner, I highly recommend and will be ordering loads more!

Very helpful with detering gout symptoms etc

during November/December 2019 I had severe gout in both ankles/big toes and has walking around like a cripple so bought these and took them as described but they didn’t really take the gout off, then after weeks of research on the net I read that vitamin C has been proven to work against gout and by pure luck my friend was passing by a health food shop and saw that 500mg vit C tablets were on offer and bought me a couple of jars.
from January 3rd 2020 I took 4000mg of Vitamin C per day which was 1000mg every 4 or 5 hours i.e. 0630 when I wake up, then again 4 or 5 hours later and again 4-5 hrs later etc.
and since then I have had no gout pains that put me in such pain as I’ve experienced…I’ve had a broken leg and gout is worse!
If I forgot to take the 1000mg Vit C (hey I’m male what do you expect) and felt the gout coming on I would take 1000mg Vit C and in only a short period of time I could feel it going.
This is purely my own experience that worked, I can’t promise that it will work for you or whether you’ll have any side effects or whether that amount of Vit C will harm you (it hasn’t harmed me so far) so you do so at your own risk but do your research on Vitamin C effects on gout and hopefully you will come to the same conclusion I did.
gout is horrid! and I wish all you suffers the very best finding your own cure, 4000mg Vit C spread throughout the day works for me and I continue to this day taking this much Vitamin C tablets every day.

I found Uriprinol a very useful health aid for my gout flare ups. I’d been suffering since having covid in August with 3-4 acute gout flare ups in my ankle and toes with a high fever potentially causing this reading into gout causes. I spoke with my doctor who said there wasn’t any information covid caused gout but prescribed naproxen meds which helped initially with the pain but it didn’t treat the main problem of Uric acid build up.
I’d done some reading online and found cherries would help initially however I needed something that wouldn’t cause further upset to my stomach after naproxen.
I read a few reviews on Amazon and online for uriprinol and initially was very sceptical. It worked for some people and not for others but by this point i wanted to try it.
The Uriprinol arrived quickly, well packged and secure. Opened the jar and noticed the smell and taste of the tablets wasn’t t pleasant but I wasn’t eating chocolate. Took 1 tablet initially for 5 days and it seemed to take effect after 2-3 days. I then increased the dosage to two tablets a day with no side effects and have been gout free for 3.5 weeks. I would highly recommend this to other people but mindful it might not work as everyone is different.

Really good but tabs are big and expensive

I started taking them late last year after two months of chronic gout. I also took up Activia yogurt, pineapple juice, I cut out liver pate, and drank more cider but less beer. In fact all the things commonly recommended. Happily no gout so far this year, though obviously there is no way of knowing if this is due to the Uriprinol or the other stuff.
One word of warning: if you have difficulty swallowing large tablets, beware. These are huge and I usually break them in half. Even so, yesterday a half tablet got stuck in my throat and only came back up after a very uncomfortable hour coughing. As luck would have it I was drinking a bottle of wine to celebrate my birthday! Before buying any more I’ll investigate if there is anything similar available in a more throat friendly size.
