Usual calcium tablet, big one, I break it

I would prefer to buy a calcium carbonate powder and use it at home as it is cheaper, but I bought these for travel and as such they are fine, opposing phosphate in the diet well.

Almost didn’t buy these due to negative reviews on the taste. I don’t find the taste too bad. It’s more the texture of the tablet that puts me off. You end up with a mouth full of what feels like grit after chewing. I’ve started trying to chew it as much as possible by nibbling bits off in my mouth while chewing, so I don’t end up with a whole mouth full of bits at one time which are hard to get rid of even with a drink.
Haven’t noticed any benefit from them yet, but haven’t been taking them long enough.

Tablets are quite large and chalky texture, but they taste good so they’re easy to take.
