This is magic. I suffer from pet allergies but also own pets so I’ve been looking for something that would actually work. I wasn’t too bothered if it’s natural or not, just wanted a go-to product that doesn’t make me tired or lose sense of smell like some sprays do. I have to say that this has been so much better than any spays or pills I’ve used, just make sure to line up both nostrils properly, you won’t feel it there but the difference is day and night. I still take some allergy pills here and there with this but really happy I found a natural product that works and doesn’t cost a fortune. I’ve stocked up on these but one jar will last for ages.

Bought this for my son who suffers badly with hayfever. He has tried many things over the years, some help and some don’t. He was very impressed with this stuff. Not sure why I have never come across this before! His symptoms haven’t gone completely but they are much better than normal.

I have gone on to the Haymax website amd read the information provided there. Reports on the trials which have been carried out show that it is effective but not 100% effective. People involved in the trials gave it scores of between 3.9 and 4 out of a possible 5. This ties in very much with my own experience. It seems logical that rubbing this barrier cream inside the edge of the nostrils will capture any allergens which stick to it and prevent them getting into the nasal passages. However, there are bound to be allergens which don’t touch the sides but go straight up the nose. I felt that this cream was not sufficient to use as the only line of defence. If you want total protection you need to use something else as well. I use Woody Knows Nasal Filters as my main line of defence and also use the Haymax as a 2nd level of defence. I find the Haymax makes it easier to insert the filter and makes it more comfortable to wear and, as I have said, it provides some additional protection. It also soothes the nose as the filter can be a little sore when you start using it at first. All in all, this cream is inexpensive and I intend to keep on using it in conjunction with the nasal filters.

I can’t use sprays for hay-fever but thus really does help.

This definitely helps. Have to reapply fairly often if you rub your nose a lot but does seem to help. Reduced sneezing and runny nose due to hay fever

I suffer from dust allergies and hayfever really badly, and I’m so happy to have found this stuff. I use it on the bone around my eyes and around my nostrils when I wake up and the relief is immediate. I sometimes reapply later in the day but even if I put make-up on top it still seems to work.

It’s an expensive alternative to Vaseline, I’ve used Vaseline for years and will probably continue too

Not sure if it does any difference.
