After cleaning my sons ears a few weeks ago a big bit of wax came out. On closer inspection I could see that his left ear was completely blocked with what can only be described as a wall of wax!
I couldn’t believe it, and straight away got the olive oil drops out to try to help loosen it.
After about 10 days there was no change at all, so I decided to have a look at home kits to remove wax (we all know how it is getting an appointment at the doctors and I had been told by a few people that they no longer offer ear flushing?)
As it was for my 5 year old, I wanted to make sure it was as gentle as possible and recommended for children, as some of the kits specifically said not for under 12. I finally found this and it had some great reviews, so I thought why not!
Well, after the first flush (using a whole bottle) there were small bits coming out and I could see it was slowly breaking down.
We decided to do one more bottle and half way through that, the monster appeared! I could not believe my eyes, it was the size of a Saltana!!
His ears are now completely clear and there is finally no excuse that he can’t hear me haha!
There was no issues with it being painful, he just said it tickled a little and we took breaks every now and then to empty the pot. I actually think it was the most time he has sat still for!
100% recommend this product and I can’t wait to do everyone’s ears that I know!

The kit is complete and of good value to those who can make use of it in a safe, professional manner. Instructions are clear, though some inaccuracies. DO NOT fully insert the probe INTO the ear drum! (I have emailed seller to amend instructions). DO NOT use if you have had sudden hearing loss, pain, discharge, tinnitus – see your GP / Nurse instead. Product is well made and with care does it’s job. Just ensure you instill a few drops of olive oil two-three times daily for a week BEFORE use, it will maximise clearance of wax.

After suffering repeated ear infections thought I would give this a go, managed to clear out my ears and since been cleared so far no infections. I’ve tried many products to help and this is the only one hat has worked, very easy to use with step by step instructions

I had a terrible block in my ear with about 95% blockage (no hearing) that I had softened all week using oils, as well as using hydrogen peroxide and even a bit of isopropyl alcohol. Nothing relieved the blockage. I bought the pump product which arrived LATE :-(, but when it came I immediately put it to use. The first attempt, there was a lot of build up that came out of the ear and I assumed the blockage was clear and I just had water left to drain. Later in the evening, I tried again using the olive oil and then the pump. It took several persistent minutes but finally removed the entire blockage completely. The pump is a pain to use as it is like squirting a squirt gun. I was expecting / hoping for a longer stream but, sadly, that is not the case. The long plastic tube is a plus and is very helpful in reaching the ears. The smaller attachment that goes into the ear canal is fine and works well but you will need to move it around frequently inside the ear canal for it to do its job. Also, use warm water, as warm as you can stand it. That really helps. Overall, its a good product for the money but it is made from plastic so if you ham-fist the plastic cap, etc., it will break. It’s a good product for the money and does the job but it does have its faults.
