This item arrived quickly and well packed. I have been using it for a while now and instead of preventing spots, I have actually got spots from using it. My GP has said that acne has various forms and reasons. Oily skin is one. Dry skin is another, hormones in teens is another, diet etc etc. GP suggested that this product dries my skin out which causes sorenes and tiny ebrasions/cracks in the skin typical of dry skin which leads to spots.
So this might be great for you if you have incredibly oily skin. Or terrible for you if you have normal or dry skin. GP also said that when using a product like this, which dries out the skin, it is best to drink plenty to stay hydrated. That can help with the dry skin for those less dramatically affected than myself.

I have very oily, sensitive skin and have been struggling with breakouts since a very young age. I am now in my mid 30s and still looking for something that works for me, unfortunately this wasn’t it. While I did see a reduction in redness and the amount of spots did decrease (although did not prevent new ones) it dried my skin out like no tomorrow. I was using up to 4x more moisturiser to try and combat it and my skin was still so dry it was getting very itchy and noticeably peeling from my face.
