It has been advertised by skincare specialists and dermatologists along with more expensive cleansers. I think I have tried all sensibly-priced cleansers out there, but no one beats this one.
I have combination skin and I don’t use foundation or concealer, etc. I do however use sunscreen on my face daily and many cleansers that claim to be great for breaking it down, doesn’t really do it very well.
I like this cleanser, it applies to skin like a silky lotion and starts to foam up, but not excessively, as you massage it on your skin. It breaks up sunscreen and cleanses skin in process wonderfully. I do remove my waterproof mascara before using the cleanser as I feel that my eye makeup remover does better job, but this just may be my preference, never really tried using cleanser only.

I purchased this purely because it was on offer. I’d been curious about it for some time but couldn’t decide which one of the Cerave products to buy. Eventually, I chose this one. My skin type is combination, menopausal and sometimes sensitive. I’ve been suffering for quite some time with awful regular breakouts which have an effect on my confidence. I’ve tried so many face washes from expensive to cheap but this one has become my absolute favourite. I can’t smell any scent to it (which is good) and it has a creamy consistency that lathers up really quickly. After using this my skin feels clean and fresh and doesn’t suffer from that horrible tight feeling you sometimes get after washing your face. Also, my multiple spot breakout has practically all but gone in just a matter of days! A first for me. I love it! I’ll definitely be buying it again.
