These calcium for my parents. After use, I mean next time can tell about this product. But it seems to me that it’s quality is better which I used for my parents.

These tablets are reasonably priced and reasonably sized, given the dosage. However, they seem to be uncoated, which means that they begin to dissolve instantly upon contact with anything wet. This includes the tongue… Once they begin to dissolve, they become powdery and stick to the tongue, throat, etc. As a result, they are very difficult to swallow. I don’t normally have any trouble taking pills and tablets (even large ones like these), but these are awful. I have resigned myself to using them up, gagging all the way, but I will not buy this brand again. Do not recommend.

The surface of these tablets are very chalky and they tend to stick on the tongue and roof of mouth. The edges are also sharp. The method is adopted for taking them is to suck them until they are slippery and the sharp edges softened – not pleasant. Even then they are not easy to swallow.
However, to be fair, even though high street competitors’ products are better, having a slightly shiny surface, they are still not easy to swallow.
Perhaps labels should carry a “Choke Hazard” warning?
