I use celery seed (along with cherry extract and a vitamin C supplement) as part of a pre-emptive response to occasional attacks of gout; my experience suggests that whilst this combination doesn’t preclude gout entirely it has certainly reduced the incidence of attacks (say by 75%) and the severity of them (say by 50%). Of the three supplements I use, I’ve been taking celery seed the longest and thus have a degree of confidence that it is providing some assistance. This particular brand/dosage is good value compared to some other offerings on Amazon and suits me well enough. Everyone, though, will have their own pet formulas; it’s important you experiment and see what works for you.

I take this with a cherry extract supplement and so it is awkward to tell if these are having an effect. I suspect they are as celery and celery seeds are great for arthritic pain and flushing out excess uric acid.

Good service and good product

This product is excellent for gout. I have gout on my big toe that keeps coming back every month. I have tried couple of other brand’s celery seed extract before, but didn’t help much. However, this Best Natural celery seed extract done wonders. Within a day my pain has gone and three or four days later swellings too. I took one tablet two times a day. Looks like a good quality product. Since it is a US products it is very expensive comparing the US price.

A few years ago I added these to my gout emergency box of cherry based concoctions, which I find effective. The unexpected thing was, while using them my gastric reflux cleared up and hasn’t come back, even though I only take them if I suspect an imminent bout of gout.
