Was really good at first but after a few months the calibration was way out so can’t really be trusted.

Very easy to use. Detach and place probe in meat, select type of meat/ fish, then clip the receiver to your belt and carry on with your tasks until the Beeper sounds to tell you the cooking is complete. Works well in oven, bbq or grill. Cordless connection between probe and receiver.
Great piece of kit!

We bought a kamado bbq and not sure whether the meat is cooking or just getting burnt. This little device is very clever and magical in cooking healthy chicken always. A must for starters like me. Will explore more on other meat in next spring.

Got for the barbecue but it works really well in the kitchen, handy gadget

Much easier to use than I expected. The lead doesn’t interfere with oven operation.
Definitely good at ensuring meat is cooked properly (whether chicken that needs minimum cooking or steak that doesn’t need overcooking).
Amazon suggested that we comment on accuracy, but then I’d need at least 2 devices and I’d need to know which was right!

It’s decent, tells you the temp of the stuff you probe. Requires 4aaa batteries and isn’t rechargable. My biggest problem is the probe has a wire that attaches it to the base, so you have a wire stuck out of appliences, there is no rubber or heat protection to remove the probe. The presets are just wrong. You will overcook meat if you follow the presets, no way to change the presets so it’s manual or bust. Works well and beeps when cooked. But nowhere near perfect.

Good but on 24/7 batteries last 3/4 days
