I was looking for a strong anti-dandruff shampoo as I struggle with this problem. That one is one of the available choices on Amazon, but never appears on the top list of anti-dandruff shampoos. Tried this one, it has an Piroctone olamine as active ingridient, a popular and cheap anti-fungal chemical present in all other anti-dandruff shampoos. No magic. I guess the concentration might be higher here. It soaps very massively, so a little quantity is enough. Does not burn eyes as terrible as Clear for example. I use this shampoo in combination with T-Gel, and could achieve supression of the dandruff and reduce scalp itching.

I am still open on this one. Use it every day and it removes any dandruff but by evening the scalp is itchy again. In fairness I have only used it for a couple of days so far so I will hold fire for a week to see if does actualy work.

I’ll checked the website and the new formula is stated to have Zinc Pyrithione in it.
Bottles arrived and no Zinc Pyrithione in the list???
Very disappointed after checking alcepen website directly as well
The zinc is what helps my scalp so now no good for me and back to hunting for a new shampoo
This WAS a god send but obviously no more 🙁

As not other dandruff shampoo to hand and hunting for a new one that contained zinc, I used it.. see real times!!
