These masks provide me with an item which is crucial to satisfy the current criteria for entering buildings governed by COVID regulations. Having a cloth mask is fine, providing that it is washed regularly, but we find that ensuring we have a reasonable supply of clean, disposable masks in cars, handbags etc ensures that we have a clean mask ready for those unplanned times when you need to access a building unexpectedly. For preplanned visits, such as food shopping, we wear cloth masks.
The masks are disposable and as such as quite robust and more than up to the job required. I am sure that they will filter out dust, however, I would want something more durable for use in the workplace where frequent removal was required.
I have awarded this item 4 stars. They are up to the job, have a triple layer, but to be honest, I feel that they are more expensive than they need to be at £8,99 and were it not for the reason we were running low on disposable masks and these were delivered next day on Amazon Prime, I would have purchased an alternative product.

Now that masks are required so many places, it’s become necessary to keep a supply in home. These are standard adult face masks which large faces might find too tight, but which work fine for me. Here’s a trick for those of you who are annoyed by your ears feeling pulled forward:
Get some of those cheap large women’s hairbands that come in bulk and look like rubber bands covered in yarn. Wrap a hairband around one ear loop string so that the band looks like a U shape with the ear loop string resting on the bottom of the U. Feed one end of the hairband through the other, then pull it tight. Now you have an extension loop attached to the face mask’s loop that you can remove and put on another mask as needed. Repeat this process for the second mask ear loop so you have extensions on both sides. Then use your extension loops to put over your ears. It will give you a couple more inches of length on the sides of your face while still letting the mask do its thing. (See my pics showing these steps.)
These masks came in the cardboard box as shown. They were sealed inside a plastic bag inside the box. A warning tag mainly written in Chinese but translated to English says they aren’t intended for hospital use. So if you’re really concerned about protecting yourself, you’ll probably want something beefier. But if you’re just trying to meet government requirements and still breathe, these masks are great for that quick nip down to the shops. They DO have metal inserts that allow you to pinch the mask around your nose bridge for a better fit, which I think is a nice touch. To save money and comfort, I got me and my hubs organic cotton masks that are washable and more comfortable for his larger face. He’s a nurse with the NHS, and the masks there are too small for him so he wasn’t thrilled when I got these. But I wanted us to have some disposable extras on hand for when our regular ones are in the wash. I showed him my hairband trick and now he’s interested that I got the masks. As for the “made in China” thing–what is everyone’s beef with the Chinese?? They are obviously stellar at manufacturing, which is why the whole world buys their stuff. I personally have no issues with buying things from China. Judge the product for what it is, and refuse to be brainwashed into hating an entire people group just bc a few individuals have issues. There is no perfect nation. This seller contacted me quickly eager to help with any issues. I’d recommend this product as a good source of back up masks to have in your house.

Box of 50 face masks arrived as expected. Good quality product. Only gripe is that they seem quite tight on my nose. Others have felt a little more comfortable to wear. After about half an hour I’m really conscious that I’m wearing a mask and am adjusting it quite a lot. I only have to wear a mask in short bursts so this doesnt really affect me too much.
